README badge

Show the verification status and latest version of your package in your README.

Every package has an SVG badge that shows its verification status and latest version, for example denofy | verified · v1.3.0 in green. Your package page has the snippet ready to copy.

Markdown#

Replace <name> with your package name:

markdown
[![Denofy](https://denofy.com/api/v1/packages/<name>/badge)](https://denofy.com/p/<name>?ref=badge)

The ?ref=badge in the link lets you see in analytics how many visitors came from your README.

Caching#

  • Existing packages: Cache-Control: public, max-age=300 — a new version shows up within five minutes (GitHub's image proxy may cache a little longer).
  • Unknown, hidden or private packages: a grey not found badge with HTTP status 404, cached for one minute, so a freshly published package appears quickly.
  • The badge endpoint is not rate limited, because GitHub fetches all README images through a few shared proxy IPs.

Badge views are counted (without cookies or IP addresses) as badge_view events — see Analytics & privacy.
